We specialize in uncovering instances where someone else’s credit report is marked as the client’s, assisting victims of identity fraud, and correcting inaccuracies in credit reports to help people get employment, housing, and credit card financing.

Banking & Finance

The banking and financial industries are heavily regulated by both state and federal law. These laws impose reporting requirements for banks and other financial institutions, govern securities and other transactions, and regulate taxes. In addition to affecting banks, banking and finance law often plays a large role in mergers and acquisitions of corporations, stock purchases and investments by both individuals and companies, and tax audits of bank accounts.

Civil Law

Legislators and administrators in civil law countries use these doctrines to fashion a code by which all legal controversies are decided.

Insurance Law

Insurance is a contract in which one party (the “insured”) pays money (called a premium) and the other party promises to reimburse the first for certain types of losses (illness, property damage, or death) if they occur. These are known as “insurance defence attorneys.”

Property Law

Landlord and tenant issues and distress are handled by Sessions Courts. The court system is inefficient and is very costly compared to the amount to be recovered. Even if it seems that landlords do not have a problem in evicting non-paying tenants, recovering unpaid rents is a major problem. In 1997, a Control of Rent (Repeal) Act was passed aiming to help landlords to recover possession of the property and curb abuses by the tenants. The law has done very little to address both.

Corporate lawyers are experts in commercial law. They are tasked with ensuring a company’s transactions comply with corporate laws and regulations. Frequently Asked Questions

Prior to meeting with a potential client, a lawyer has worked with a long list of other clients. Often, that particular advocate find that the same questions get asked over and over. Here are some of the most frequently-asked questions.

How to get started?

You can apply to a county court to claim money you’re owed by a person or business. This is known as making a court claim. It often used to be known as taking someone to a ‘small claims court’. You can apply online or by post.A mediation service could be quicker and cheaper than going to court. Mediation is when an impartial person helps both sides work out an agreement.

List of documents

Before heading into your consultation, think about what you really want to get out of it. Planning ahead will help you get the most of your meeting. An initial consultation is ordinarily used to provide you with preliminary advice and an idea of how your lawyer will handle your case. It’s a good idea to write down any questions or concerns you have before your consultation so that you don’t forget to address them during the meeting.

Prices & Fees

You must pay a court fee when you make your claim. In addition we may ask for a deposit on account which we keep in a segregated client account for our fees. We may draw down on this deposit by invoicing you as your case progresses.

We provide best solutions

Bringing official documents that are relevant to your case can also help you to maximise your time with the lawyer. Especially if you are dealing with a separation or divorce, it will be important to bring evidence of your official assets and legal documents.Such documents can better inform the lawyer about your situation and provide more knowledge as a basis for your legal advice. This will help to increase the accuracy and relevance of the advice you are given.Your initial consultation is an important meeting that can help set the stage for the rest of your case. Being prepared for this meeting will enable you to get the most out of your time and ensure everything goes smoothly.
